JEE Main is commonly known as Joint Entrance Examination (Main), is the first stage examination for admissions to prestigious IITs (Indian Institute of Technology) and ISM (Indian School of Mines) Dhanbad, conducted by CBSE (Cental Board of Secondary Education). The JEE Main exam is conducted in both offline and online modes in th month of April. This national level exam is conducted for admissions to 31 NITs, 18 IIITs and 18 GFTIs, which are the participating institutes of JEE Main.

Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2017 will be held on April 2, 2017 in offline mode; and April 8-April 9, 2017 in online mode. The JEE Main Paper 2 which is conducted for B. Arch and B. Planning will be held in offline mode only on April 2, 2017. The result of JEE Main 2017 will be announced on April 27, 2017.

JEE Main 2017 application form will be available from December 1, 2016 onwards and the last date to fill JEE Main Application Form is January 2, however, pay the application fee of JEE Main 2017 till January 3, 2017.

CBSE has introduced a new eligibility criteria, where the candidates will be required to fill Aadhaar Card number in  JEE Main 2017 application form. It is mendataty to fill AAdhaar number to fill in jee main application form, without Aadhaar number application will be rejected.
